The seminar will highlight soft matter research at ILL, with a focus on small angle neutron scattering (SANS). After a brief general introduction to our large‐scale facility, the SANSmethod will be illustrated with examples from polymer‐ and colloid science, using nonequilibrium (shear) and time‐resolved scattering techniques.

We present new features and achievements after the recent Millennium project upgrade and give an overview on neutron scattering sample environment and future trends.
