Julian Helfferich receives funding to continue his scientific career
Having finished his doctorate in the IRTG "Soft Matter Science", Julian Helfferich has secured funding to continue his scientific career: The German Research Foundation (DFG) grants him a research fellowship for his time as a PostDoc at the Institute of Molecular Engineering (IME) in Chicago, USA. Following up on his PhD studies on the dynamics of glassy polymer melts, he will compare the microscopic properties of liquid-cooled and vapor-deposited thin polymer films.
